Introduction

• The hinge is sold as a set and is made up of an Upper and Lower hinge.
• The straps wrap around the gate and are held in place with carriage bolts.
• Built to fit a 3″ thick gate.
• Both hinges rest on a 3/4″ diameter pintle that is 2-1/2″ tall.
• The upper pintle bolts through the gate post. Fits a gate post up to 5-1/2″ thick.
• The lower pintle is secured by a spike which is held in place by friction and gravity.
• A fieldgate hinge is designed to support larger, often heavier gates that are commonly found in agricultural settings.
